Mark Leavenworth was born in 1711, in Stratford, CT. He graduated from Yale University in New Haven, CT, in 1737. He married Ruth Peck, daughter of Jeremiah Peck and Rachel Richards, in 1739. Mark lived in Waterbury, CT. He was a minister. His wife Ruth died on 8 August 1750 in Waterbury, CT, at age 31 leaving him a widower. Mark Leavenworth married Sarah Hill after August 1750. Mark Leavenworth died on 20 August 1797.
