Elizabeth Atherton was born on 28 September 1628, in Winwick, Lancashire, England.1 She married Timothy Mather, son of Richard Mather and Catherine Holt, circa 1650 in Dorchester, MA.2,1 Elizabeth and Timothy had seven children.1 Elizabeth Atherton died on 15 May 1678 in Dorchester, MA, at age 49.1
