Algernon Sr Sartoris1

     Algernon Sr Sartoris was born on 1 August 1851, in London, England.1 He married Ellen Grant, daughter of Ulysses Simpson Grant and Julia Boggs Dent, on Thursday, 21 May 1874 in The White House, Washington, DC.1 Algernon and Ellen had four children.1 Algernon Sr Sartoris died on 3 February 1893 in Capri, Italy, at age 41.1
