Daniel Southmayd was born on 23 October 1753, in Waterbury, CT.1 He married Susannah Nichols, daughter of George Nichols and Susanna Hickox, on Sunday, 31 October 1773 in Waterbury, CT.1 Daniel and Susannah had three children.1 Daniel Southmayd died on 13 August 1830 in Dryden, NY, at age 76.1
