He married Elizabeth Bradley, daughter of Benjamin Bradley and Martha Tuttle, on Saturday, 21 May 1746 in Woodbury, CT.2 Elizabeth died on 6 November 1764 in Woodbridge, CT, at age 38 leaving him a widower. Abraham moved to New Haven, CT. He married Sarah Ingraham on Sunday, 17 February 1765 in New Haven, CT. Abraham Augur died on 31 May 1798 in New Haven, CT. He was buried at the Grove Street Cemetery in New Haven, CT, He was buried in the old burying ground on the green, but his tombstone was moved to the Augur family lot, 21 Cypress Ave in the Grove Street Cemetery in New Haven, CT.
