Robert Marvin was born on 14 January 1618, in Great Bentley, Essex, England.1 He married Mary Browne, daughter of William Browne and Jane Mills, on Tuesday, 6 December 1644 in Rusper, Sussex, England.1 As of May 1649 Robert lived in Southampton, Long Island, NY, He was granted land there valued $100.1,2 Robert was admitted freeman on 12 May 1664 by the Connecticut government.1 He died circa 1683 in Hempstead, Long Island, NY.1
