Thomas Topping was born in 1608, in Totternhoe, Bedfordshire, England.^1,3 He married Emma Aldridge, daughter of Ambrose Aldridge and Emme O Harding, on Monday, 16 November 1626 in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, England.^1,4 Thomas was a refugee from religious persecution in England.¹ In 1639 Thomas moved to Milford, CT, where he was a Representative.¹ 1640 Thomas and Emma joined the church in Milford, CT.¹ 1666 Thomas married Mary Baldwin, widow of Timothy Baldwin. Perhaps this is Mary Welles #7854, the wife of Timothy Baldwin; if so, her death date would be incorrect.¹ Thomas married Lydia, widow of John Uilford d 1694. Possibly John's last name was Wilford.^1,2 He died in 1688 in Branford, CT.^1,3
