Hannah Ketchum was born on 27 November 1717, in Old Norwalk, CT.1 She married Jonathan Ketchum, son of Nathaniel Ketchum and Mrs Abigail (Unknown) Ketchum, in 1735 in Norwalk, CT, Jonathan and Hannah were second cousins once removed.1 Hannah and Jonathan had six children.1 After the death of Jonathan, Hannah left Huntington, returning to her
family home in Wilton. Nothing more is known of Hannah. Their children
lived with or near her brother, Elihu, in Dutchess Co., New York and
adopted the Connecticut spelling of their name, "Ketchum"!!!1
