Nathaniel Brewster was born circa 1624. He was educated in 1642 at Harvard in Cambridge, MA, as a member of the first graduating class. Harvard, for about 100 years ranked its graduates according to the social standing of their families. Nathaniel was ranked 9th of 9. Yale, founded in 1701, did the same. He married Abigail Reymes, daughter of John Reymes and Mrs Frances (Unknown) Reymes, say 1643.1 Nathaniel Brewster married Sarah Ludlow circa 1656 in Ireland ? Nathaniel Brewster died on 18 December 1690 in Brookhaven, LI, NY, age and infirmity having for sometime disabled him from performing constant ministerial duty. He left a will that was proved proved May 1695.
