     Elihu Hotchkiss was born on 16 August 1742, in New Haven, CT.1 He married Lydia Robinson, daughter of Eliakim Robinson and Lydia Moulthrop, in 1769.1 Elihu Hotchkiss died on 12 May 1835 in Litchfield, CT, at age 92.1
