Oliver Addison Kingsbury was born on 20 August 1839, in New York City, NY.¹ He was educated in 1860 at Yale College in New Haven, CT.² He was a clergyman of the Presbyterian Church.³ He married Sarah Cecilia McMillan on Thursday, 11 May 1865.² Between May 1873 and Feb 1889 he was an editor of The Illustrated Christian Weekly, published until 1887 by the American Tract Society, afterwards by private parties.³ In 1891 Oliver moved to New Hartford, NY.³ Oliver lived in many different locations - Middle Haddam, CT, Joliet Illinois from 1866-1870, Wappinger's Falls, NY 1870, Union Evangelical Church at Corona, NY 1874-1878. He then moved to Jersey City, NJ.³
