     Addison Kingsbury was born on 5 July 1800, in Coventry, CT.1 He was educated at Amherst College in Northampton, MA, but did not graduate.2 He graduated from Andover Theological Seminary in Andover, MA, in 1828.2 24 September 1828 he was ordained at Newburyport as an evangelist by the Presbytery of Newburyport. He was in the American Home Missionary Society in Ohio.3 He married Emma Little on Tuesday, 27 April 1830.3 Addison Kingsbury married Mary Farrar Price on Monday, 20 August 1832.3 Addison and Mary had three children.3 Addison was a member of the New England Historic Genealogical Society of Boston. He did much work on the Kingsbury genealogy
He wrote to FJ Kingsbury (the author of the genealogy) 3 Jan 1880 "I trust you have been able to prosecute your work of revision successfully, and your list of names will ere long be complete. Would I could do more to help you, but my correspondents are dilatory, and when they do write, their leters contain little beside a list of their own families, leaving me without any clue to their pedigrees."3
Addison Kingsbury died on 25 January 1892 in Marietta, Ohio, at age 91.3
