     William H Stimpson was born circa 1824, in MA.3 He married Elizabeth Sargent, daughter of Joseph Sargent and Nancy Lisbon, on Sunday, 5 March 1854.1 William H Stimpson was a clerk.3 By the 1870 census William is listed as having no occupation.2 By 1880 William had become an hotel keeper. He was aided by his son George.4
