John Hollister

     John Hollister was born circa 1612. He married Joanna Treat, daughter of Richard Treat and Alice Gaylord, say 1638.¹ John immigrated circa 1642 to Wethersfield, CT, John emigrated to America about 1642, the year his name first appears in Wethersfield, CT. He died in April 1665 in Wethersfield, CT. He left a will dated 3 April 1665. In part: "I give my daughter Mary four score pounds to be paid on her marriage day or else when she comes to ye age of twenty. Three score pounds of which shall be paid by my son John Hollister". He has 1642 pounds, 2 sh, 6 d.
