     Christopher Colt was born on 30 August 1780, in Hartford, CT.2 Father: Benjamin Colt (b 1738) - Mother: Lucretia Ely (b 1734).2 Christopher married Sarah Caldwell. They had 8 children - but sources are not good on dates, and therefore not good on mothers.2 He was a farmer, and also in the textile business.2 He married Olive Sargent, daughter of Jacob Sargent and Olive Paine, in March 1823.1 Christopher Colt died on 5 April 1850 in Hartford, CT, at age 69.2,3
