     Catherine Birdsey was born in 1626, in Great Budworth, Cheshire, England.3,1 She married Joseph Hawley, son of Samuel Hawley, circa 1646 in Wethersfield, CT.3 Her husband Joseph died on 20 May 1690 in Stratford, CT, leaving her a widow. Catherine Hawley died on 25 June 1692 in Stratford, CT.2
