     John Male was born on 30 June 1846, in Islington, Middlesex, England.1,2 John immigrated in 1895 This isn't right, although it is in the 1910 census. Sometime before 1870.3 He married Zipporah Elizabeth Bird, daughter of Matthew Bird and Elizabeth Williamson, circa 1871.3 John lived in Troy, NY. He was a shipper.4 John was a manager of the mill in New Haven. He was an austere man, with a beard. John and Zipporah raised Fox terriers.5 John and Zipporah had five children.6 As of 1910 John lived in New Haven, CT, at 140 James or possible Exchange St.3 He died on 29 September 1925 in New Haven, CT, at age 79.1
