Johanna Booth was born in September 1678, in Stratford, CT.1 She married John Sherwood in 1695.2 Her husband, after less than 2 years of marriage! John died in September 1696 in Fairfield, CT, leaving her a widow.2 Johanna Booth married Thomas Hawley, son of Samuel Hawley and Mary Thompson, in October 1721. Her husband Thomas died on 6 May 1722 at age 43 leaving her a widow.
