John Henry Higginson was born circa 1871, in Utah.2 He married Alice Lavinia Dimick, daughter of Ephraim Dimick and Jane Shepherd, on Monday, 1 January 1894.1 In 1900 John was a quartz miner, living in Diamond, Utah, away from his family. He was with his partner William Farnsworth and his brother George.3 John Henry Higginson was an electrician in the coal mine.2
