George Nichols was born on 14 July 1714, in Long Island, NY. George moved to Derby, CT, with his father. In 1729 George moved to Waterbury, CT, with his father and settled in the western part of Waterbury, called the 'Nichols Tract'. He married Susanna Hickox, daughter of Thomas Hickox and Mary Bronson, on Tuesday, 5 December 1741. George Nichols died in 1788 in Waterbury, CT.
