Amy Nichols was born on 9 August 1742, in Waterbury, CT. She married James Scovill, son of William Scovill and Hannah Richards, on Sunday, 7 November 1762.1 Soon after the war James, Amy, their family and much of the congregation moved to St. John New Brunswick. Amy Nichols died on 25 June 1832 in Kingston, New Brunswick, Canada, at age 892, and was buried in Kingston, New Brunswick, Canada.
