Isaac Smith was born on 15 January 1742/43, in Ridgefield, CT.1 He married Hannah Rockwell, daughter of David Rockwell and Elizabeth Hyatt, on Thursday, 22 December 1763 in Ridgefield, CT.1 Isaac Smith was a farmer.1 In 1772 Isaac moved to Lenox, MA. He was in the Revolutionary War, in the 1st Regiment of Albany County (NY) Militia.1 He was an original member of the Charlton Freehold Presbyterian Church.1 He died on 30 September 1824 in Charlton, Saratoga County, NY, at age 81.1 He was buried at the Smith family cemetery, Division St in Charlton, NY.1
