David Rockwell was born on 8 October 1708, in Norwalk, CT. He married Elizabeth Hyatt, daughter of Thomas Hyatt and Experience Scott, on Wednesday, 29 August 1731. David Rockwell married Elizabeth Whitney, daughter of Joseph Whitney and Hannah Hoyt, after 1758.1 His wife Elizabeth died on 13 February 1758 in Ridgefield, CT, at age 46 leaving him a widower. David Rockwell died on 30 May 1788 in Ridgefield, CT, at age 79.
