Daniel Denny was born on 30 November 1694, in Coombs, Suffolk, England. Daniel left England June 1715 and arrived in Boston 12 Sep 1715 with Richard Southgate, his friend. In March 1717 they both moved to Leicester, MA and settled on adjoining farms. They were among the earliest settlers of the town. Daniel became very active and influential, and a large land owner. He was a farmer. He married Rebecca Jones, daughter of Nathaniel Jones, in December 1722. Daniel Denny died on 16 April 1760 in Leicester, MA, at age 65.
