William Thompson was born in 1628, in Lancashire, England.1 Father: William Thompson (b 1597 Winwich, Lancashire, England) - Mother: Abigail Collins (b 1602 Bramford, Suffolk, England).1 He married Catherine Treat, daughter of Richard Treat and Alice Gaylord, on Sunday, 19 September 1655 in Springfield, MA.1 William and Catherine had five children.1 William Thompson died after 1700 in Washington Parish, Westmoreland County, Virginia.1
