     Edmund Rice was born on 14 February 1819, in Waitsfield, VT.2,1 He married Anna Maria Acker on Tuesday, 28 November 1848, probably in Kalamazoo, Michigan.1,3 Between 1877 and 1879 he was a member of the US House of Representatives from Minnesota's 4th district as a Democrat.1 Edmund Rice died on 11 July 1889 in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, at age 70.1 He was buried at the Oakland Cemetery in St Paul, Minnesota.1
