Timothy Stanley was born on 1 April 1604, in Tenterden, Kent, England.3,1 He immigrated on the ship Planter in 1634 to Boston, MA.4 He married Elizabeth Morrice circa 1636 in Hartford, CT.5 Timothy Stanley died on 30 April 1648 in Hartford, CT, at age 44.1 He left a will dated 16 October 1648. "His will affords a vivid glimpse of the manner of living among well-to-do people of the day." In 1659 Timothy moved to Hadley, MA, He was a man of dignity and good substance.
