Joseph Keeler was born in 1683, in Norwalk, CT. He married Elizabeth Whitney, daughter of John Whitney and Elizabeth Smith, say 1704.1 Joseph lived in Ridgefield, CT. He was Carpenter and the town Miller. 1715 he was appointed to repair the town meeting house in Ridgefield. In 1716 he was elected lister and sealer of weights and measures. He was a surveyor. 1725 he was one of the committee to fix boundariy between Norwalk and Ridgefield. He was a Justice of the Peace. He died on 29 November 1757 in Ridgefield, CT.
