     Richard Woodward was born on 20 January 1585/86, in Ipswich, Suffolk, England.1 He married Rose Stewart say 1614.2 Richard Woodward immigrated on the ship "Elizabeth" with his wife and 2 sons from Ipswich England on 10 April 1634 to Watertown, MA.3 His wife Rose died on 6 October 1662 in Watertown, MA, leaving him a widower.4 Richard Woodward married Ann Neave on Tuesday, 10 April 1663 in Watertown, MA.5 Richard Woodward died on 16 February 1664/65 in Watertown, MA, at age 79. He died intestate. His estate was appraised 21 Feb 1664/65 by Nathaniel Treadway, William Bond and Henry Spring. His estate was administered by his sons George and John.
