     David Collier Sargent was born on 1 December 1915, in CT.1,2 He graduated from Philips Andover Academy in Andover, MA, in 1934.3 He graduated from Yale University in New Haven, CT, in 1938 where he was a member of Book and Snake.3,4 He was employed by Travelers Insurance Company in 1939 in Hartford, CT.3 He was in the army on 10 December 1941 as a Captain in the Corps of Engineers.3 He married Jean Thompson on Saturday, 20 October 1945 in Hartford, CT.5 He was an avid naturalist and supporter of the Nature Conservancy.3 He donated his property in Greenwich CT to the land trust (probably for Yale University) - note written by John Moffat Sargent.6 David Collier Sargent died on 7 July 2007 in Essex, CT, at age 91.2 An obituary was published in the Hartford Courant, in Hartford, CT, on 15 July 2007.
