Ann Neave1,2

     Ann Neave was born in 1602, in Norwich, Norfolk, England.3 She married Stephen Gates on Friday, 5 May 1628 in Hingham, Norfolk, England.4,3 Ann and Stephen had nine children.5 Ann Neave married Richard Woodward, son of William Woodward, on Tuesday, 10 April 1663 in Watertown, MA.3 Ann Neave died on 5 February 1682/83 in Stow, MA.6
***Research Conclusion Charles Otis Gates in book Stephen Gates of Hingham and Lancaster, Massachusetts, and His Descendants transcribed Stephen's wife's last name as Veare, and everyone followed suit. However research done by Edward Harrison has concluded the name should be Neave.2
