     Phebe Curtis was born on 4 October 1719, in Durham, CT.1 She married David Mattoon on Thursday, 5 October 1741 in Wallingford, CT.1 Phebe and David had ten children.2 Phebe Curtis died on 28 September 1776 in Watertown, CT, at age 56.1
