He married Mary Sanford, daughter of Thomas Sanford and Mary Chubb, on Thursday, 5 June 1738 in Litchfield, CT.1 John Humiston married Ruth Culver on Saturday, 29 December 1742 in Litchfield, CT.2 John Humiston married Thankful Tyler on Thursday, 21 June 1770. John Humiston died on 25 May 1781 at age 68.3
