     William Hodge McCance was born on 27 March 1895.1 He married Mary Denny Sargent, daughter of George Lewis Sargent and Alice Bessie Forbes, on Thursday, 30 June 1921. William Hodge McCance was a medical missionary in Africa; a minister.2 Bill married a second wife.2 He died in August 1977 in Waterbury, CT, at age 82.1
