Ruth Denison was born on 7 June 1686, in Ipswich, MA. She married Joseph Kingsbury, son of Joseph Kingsbury and Love Ayer, on Friday, 5 February 1705/6 in Haverhill, MA, Joseph and Ruth were second cousins.1 Ruth lived in Franklin, CT. Her husband Joseph died on 1 December 1757 in West Farms (Now Franklin), CT, at age 75 leaving her a widow. Ruth Denison died on 6 May 1779 at age 92. She was buried at Franklin Burying Ground in Franklin, CT.2 When Ruth Denison Kingsbury died she left behind 231 descendants: 5 children, 61 grandchildren, 152 great grandchildren 13 great-great grandchildren.
