John Denison was born circa 1657. John served in King Philip's War under Major Samuel Appleton and was wounded. King Philips War 1675-1676. He married Ruth Ayer, daughter of Peter Ayer and Hannah Allen, say 1682.1 John lived in Ipswich, MA. He was a weaver. His wife Ruth died on 2 February 1694/95 in Ipswich, MA, at age 34 leaving him a widower. John Denison married Mrs Elizabeth Denison say 1698.1 John Denison died on 12 August 1725 in Ipswich, MA.
