William Warriner was born say 1616.1 William arrived in Springfield, MA, by 1639.2 He married Joanna Searle, daughter of Mr Searle, on Sunday, 31 July 1639 in Springfield, MA.3 His house lot occupied the present (1910) site of Court Street and the northern part of Court Square.2 In 1656 William was a Constable; in 1658 he was a selectman. He served on many important committees concerning town affairs.2 William Warriner married Elizabeth Gibbons on Sunday, 2 October 1661.2
