Joseph Root was born in 1640, in Farmington, CT.1 He married Elizabeth Warner on Wednesday, 17 September 1692 in Farmington, CT.2 Joseph Root married Ruth Porter, daughter of Thomas Porter and Sarah Hart, on Saturday, 3 May 1727. Joseph Root died on 18 December 1739 in Northampton, MA.2
