     Desire Sanford was born on 12 February 1707/8, in North Haven, CT.2 She married Caleb Cooper, son of John Cooper and Sarah Thomas, on Sunday, 13 March 1734/35 in New Haven, CT.1 Desire and Caleb had five children.1 Desire Sanford married William Scovill, son of John Scovill and Hannah Richards, say 1748.3 Desire married Jonathan Guernsey.4 Desire Sanford died on 2 January 1795 in Watertown, CT, at age 86.5
