     Thomas Sherwood was born in 1586, in Ipswich, Suffolk, England, Cutter (William Richard) in Families of New England says he was from Sherwood Forest.....1 He married Alice Seabrook, daughter of Robert Seabrook and Alice Goodspeed, say 1609.2 Thomas Sherwood and Alice Seabrook immigrated on the ship ship Francis, John Cutting master, with his wife and 4 children, landing at Boston in June 1634 to Boston, MA.1 Thomas Sherwood married Mrs Mary (Unknown) Sherwood circa 1638, probably in Windsor, CT.3
***Research Conclusion D L Jacobus says there is no evidence that Mary's last name was Fitch.3 As of 1643 Thomas lived in Wethersfield, CT. As of 1645 Thomas lived in Stratford, CT. Thomas lived in Fairfield, CT. He died in October 1655 in Fairfield, CT.4
