     Sarah Dow was born on 2 February 1671/72, in Hartford, CT.1 Father: Samuel Dow - Mother: Mary Graves (b 1 Oct 1635 Braintree, Essex, England).1 She married Thomas Smith, son of Thomas Smith and Elizabeth Patterson, in 1698 in East Haven, CT.1 Sarah and Thomas had seven children.1
