William Jones

     William Jones was born on 20 September 1771.1 Father: Samuel Jones (b 26 Jul 1734 Oyster Bay, Long Island, NY) - Mother: Cornelia Herring (b 15 Feb 1741. He married Kezia Youngs, daughter of Daniel Youngs and Susannah Kelsey, on Tuesday, 12 October 1790 in Youngs homestead, Oyster Bay Cove, Long Island, NY.2,1 William Jones was called Major. William and Kezia had one child.2 William Jones died on 16 September 1853 in Cold Spring, NY, at age 81.1 He was buried at the Jones Burial Plot, West Neck in South Oyster Bay, Long Island, NY.1
