     Jehiel Forbes was born on 9 August 1768, in New Haven, CT. He was baptized on 5 October 1769. He married Huldah Bradley, daughter of Gurdon Bradley and Mary Woodward, on Thursday, 20 February 1794 in East Haven, CT.1 His wife Huldah died on 19 May 1829 in East Haven, CT, at age 58 leaving him a widower.2 Jehiel Forbes married Sarah Woodward, daughter of Stephen Woodward and Elizabeth Morris, on Tuesday, 12 October 1830 Sarah was the first cousin of Jehiel's first wife Hulday Bradley. They shared the same grandparents - John and Mary Denison Woodward. His wife Sarah died on 29 April 1846 at age 52 leaving him a widower. Jehiel Forbes married Ann Maria Bradley, daughter of Willet Bradley and Susan Morris, on Monday, 4 January 1847 Ann Maria was the niece of Jehiel's first wife Huldah Bradley. Her father Willet was Huldah's younger brother... Jehiel Forbes died on 17 July 1858 in New Haven, CT, at age 89.3 Death notice in the New York Evening Post.4 He was buried at the Grove Street Cemetery in New Haven, CT.5

Also identified in the household was Geo W Forbes, age 15 (b 1835). Another family was Sarah M Cutter, age 42, A M Cutter (female) age 13 and Lyman T Cutter age 11. All of the above people were born in CT. Also listed are Thomas Stanford age 32, Br4idget Standofr age 20 and Catharine Malligan age 13.
