Elisha Root was born in 1737.1 He married Lucy Curtiss, daughter of Jeremiah Curtiss and Hannah Burnham, on Friday, 17 February 1764 in Southington, CT. He was a Lieutenant in the Revolutionary War.1 Elisha Root died in September 1776 in Southington, CT.
