Mercy Newall was born on 2 April 1742, in Southington, CT.1 She married Stephen Root say 1754.2,3 Mercy Newall married John Strong, son of John Warham Strong and Abigail Thrall, on Wednesday, 15 November 1769.4 Mercy Newall died on 9 September 1784 in Torrington, CT, at age 42.4
