     Harrison Jones Sargent was born on 10 January 1819, in Leicester, MA.1 He married Sarah A Griffin on Tuesday, 6 November 1849. Harrison lived in Newnan, Georgia. He was a merchant.2 Harrison Jones lived in GA during the Civil War. His neighbors knew that his sympathies were wholly with the North. He made no attempt to aid either side in the conflict and was unmolested. He was a dealer in general merchandise & President of a cotton factory.3 He died on 20 May 1903 in Newnan, Georgia, at age 84.
