     George Henry Sargent was born on 29 October 1828, in Leicester, MA.1 He graduated from Harvard College in Cambridge, MA, in 1849 with a degree in mercantile business. Also he had aa degree in law in 1853.2 In 1854 George moved to New York City, NY.1 He married Sarah C Shaw on Monday, 15 October 1855 in Nantucket, MA.1 George Henry Sargent was the President of Sargent and Co. in New Haven, CT.3 1910 he was listed in the Harvard Alumni Directory address 2 West 50th St, New York, NY. Years at Harvard 1849-1852, a.b., 1852(95), law 1852-1853 degree in mercantile business.4 He died on 14 April 1917 at age 88.
