     Nikolaus Dicker was born in 1878, in Vienna, Austria.2 Nikolaus Dicker was also known as Nicholas.2 His parents were both born in Poland. There were 2 boys & 3 girls in their family, all born in Vienna.2 He was educated in business administration.2 He was the head clerk in the foreign exchange department of the Zentral Europaeischen Laenderbank. in Vienna, Austria.2 He married Charlotte Blumenstein, daughter of Carl Blumenstein and Hermine Frankl, circa 1915. Nikolaus and Charlotte lived in Hofzeile 16, Vienna, Austria, in the district known as Doebling.3 Nikolaus and Charlotte immigrated on 21 June 1941 on the ship S. S. Mouzinho from Portugal, leaving Lisbon on the 10th of June, 1941 and arriving on the 21st of June in New York City. They then went to Pittsburgh to be with their daughter.2,4 Unfortunately he did not adjust well to the lifestyle of America.2 Nikolaus Dicker died in 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA, . His death was sudden.2
