     John Edison was born circa 1740, in the Netherlands.2 He married Sarah Ogden, daughter of Samuel Ogden and Phebe Baldwin, on Thursday, 10 October 1765 in Hanover Presbyterian Church, Orange, NJ.1,3 John Edison died circa 1814 in Bayham, Elgin Co, NJ.2
