     Charles Denison Kingsbury was born on 7 November 1795, in Waterbury, CT. He married Eliza Leavenworth, daughter of Frederick Leavenworth and Fanny Johnson, on Monday, 5 March 1821, probably in Waterbury, CT.1 Charles Denison Kingsbury was a merchant.2 His wife Eliza died on 16 November 1852 in Waterbury, CT, at age 53 leaving him a widower.1 Charles Denison Kingsbury married Rebecca Hotchkiss, daughter of Elijah Hotchkiss and Polly Clark, on Thursday, 24 November 1859 in Plainfield, NJ.3 Charles Denison Kingsbury died on 16 January 1890 in Waterbury, CT, at age 94.
